You will learn some tools and techniques to promote your business and how to define some unique messages for your brand. The workshop will also include how to use social media to create PR opportunities.

Lorraine Bridges, Director Bare
Lorraine Bridges is a Chartered PR Practitioner and senior strategist. She is Director of Bare PR (www.barepr.co.uk) a full service PR and marketing agency based in Croydon, South London.
Lorraine has worked with local and national media including BBC breakfast, Today Programme, Channel 4, The Times, The Guardian and The Sun, and is a former Guardian features writer. She has more than 15 years’ experience successfully pitching and planning news stories as well as responding to crisis situations.

Brian McGee, writer, editor & content producer
Brian McGee is a former Reuters editor and Bloomberg business reporter. Brian www.briandmcgee.com now works with business owners from industries including law, chemicals trading, retailing and fund management. His services cover three main areas: digital copywriting; social media training; consultancy around blogging and content. Brian, who most recently worked on the global pictures desk at Reuters in London, is a keen advocate of “little, often” on social media. Current hashtags are #PortesdePenge, #BOWRivoli, #briandword. He is a member of Croydon Chamber of Commerce.
