#oldfindsnewstories
Waste, there’s way too much of it. On that we can probably all agree. In however small a way #oldfindsnewstories aims to address that, and make our contribution to combating climate change, in three areas:
- reclaimed garden decor
- preloved items — curated
- creative, bespoke workshops
At Dover-based #oldfindsnewstories we carefully source items from local sellers, as far as possible. When we travel further afield, that’s only when the scale and quality of the finds makes sense.
We take old finds and give them new stories.
From vintage terracotta pots to reclaimed chimney pots, we put together thoughtful combinations of potted flowering bulbs and plants too. Wooden and metal crates to contain groups of terracotta pots? They’re also reclaimed, preloved, secondhand.

Preloved Sale!
Sunday 5 March in Dover. Reclaimed terracotta pots, curated selection of paintings and books. See you there!

Every quarter or so #oldfindsnewstories selects a new charity to support. At the moment that’s Kent Wildlife Trust.
Getting outside often makes any of us feel better. But items for the home certainly have their place in our offering at #oldfindsnewstories, from framed prints to decorative objects via secondhand books.
As for bespoke workshops, those will focus on reclamation and sustainability for local businesses, bringing people together to learn and make new contacts. Watch this space… #oldfindsnewstories
