Social media isn’t for me – what business can say that in 2017? Love or hate Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or any other social media channel, one thing is certain: we can’t ignore it.
Take Twitter, for example. Whether you have a couple of thousand followers or have recently started to dip your toe in, this practical, interactive workshop will give you thinking space to consider how you can make better use of Twitter to:
- keep on top of developments in your industry
- get your name out there, keeping your offering front of mind for when future clients need you
What’s more, how can regular posting and “retweeting” on Twitter help you to post on other social media, from friend LinkedIn to Instagram and Facebook?
This is what we’ll explore with other business owners on Tues 11 July at Rivoli Meeting Room in Ladywell, south London. (Eventbrite link to book a place: http://bit.ly/2sK7VIK)
It’s a pleasure to team up again with graphic designer and business owner Stephen Shillito to deliver this hands-on, practical workshop.
Here are a couple of reviews from the previous workshop we ran:
There were some great insights and it’s good to meet people and share issues and solutions to the minefield that is social media. I look forward to workshop 2.0.
Thanks to @BrianMcGee8, @stephenshillito & all participants at @RivoliOffice for very enlightening 3hrs yesterday! Learned much to implement.
As a qualified teacher — and to quote a recent blog — I understand a thing or two about what makes a hands-on “learning journey”. Learning by doing? It’s not called a workshop for nothing.

Thanks Brian for creating another great workshop. It was a pleasure to be involved and see our attendees leave with plenty of ideas to make better use of Twitter and other social media. Looking forward to the Facebook workshop in September.
You’re welcome, Stephen. Thanks a lot for your comment here. The business owners who came along to the workshop played a big part in its success too. Hopefully we’ll see some of them on Weds 20 Sept (Facebook for business). Details to follow…
